While I would include myself as a conservative in many ways I don't think it is the answer to all of America's woes. For instance, the conservative stance on immigration is not practical. We can't just round up everybody and send them back. It isn't worth the cost. It sucks that we are in a position where our laws are compromised but we are here and here is where we have to work from.

If you take away the jobs by enforcing the laws against employers that are on the books, they will leave...............................it's working in Arizona and we have lower unemployment....................................imagine that.

Have those states ask the people they voted in office for the answer................................................. Yes the Federal Government SHOULD be doing this - but they don't so one state did.................................If other states don't like the results they can: A) Keep lieing to the sheeple, since most want to feeeeel good about themselves and just suck into the lies or B) Do the same thing - but most politicians don't have the guts and are too afraid of their own "you wont get re-elected" shadows. |

YEAH, LETS JUST TAKE THESE FOURTEEN MILLION PEOPLE AND HERD THEM BACK TO MEXICO AND DISRUPT EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES AS WELL AS THOSE AROUND THEM. LIKE IT OR NOT, THESE PEOPLE ARE A DEEP PART OF OUR SOCIETY. WE CAN STAND ON SOME FICTICIOUS HIGH GROUND AND TREAT ALL OF THESE PEOPLE AS LESS THAN HUMAN IN THE NAME OF LAW AND ORDER BUT THAT IS AN LOUSY EXCUSE FOR DOING A DIRTY DEED.

Yup - my fault, I MADE them BREAK the Law and cross the border to America.........................I am responsible to them for the rest of my life and my children should be responsible to pay for their health care even if they can't afford their own.................................
The USA allows more immigrants in then the rest of the World COMBINED - go ask Canada or England to take 4 or 5 MILLION each. Or we could just do what Mexico does and Shoot anyone caught trying to enter our Southern border...........................

I dont disagree really onhold but what you say isnt practical or realistic. We all can agree on what should have been but we have to deal with what is here now. I dont want to spend billions on hauling these people back home. We have to make the best of what have to deal with. but we also have to fix the root problem that caused the mess in the first place atthe same time.

What happens if they don’t get a FREE education and FREE medical care? What if the TV channels don’t broadcast in non-English languages? All the sudden America is not so attractive…………………………

Nah, Arizona is just solvng Arizona's problem and that is cool by me...but these people won't leave they will adapt or move elsewhere. They will only be forced to get better at providing the legal documentation and will learn better English. They will develope a system of marriages and multi-marriages and we will be right back to square one. While I personally praise the actions of certain states to take a stand because they SHOULD but unfortunately this isn't just a State problem it is a National problem. You have to be honest and realize that for each action that the states take there will be a reaction and that reaction will counter the action. The ultimate solution really only has two choices in my view. You either round them all up and ship them all back or you give them qualified amnesty. In BOTH CASES you must FIRST secure the Southern border. Anything short of that is futile, IMO. |

Nope - we do what Mexico has done, put the military on the border with orders to shoot to kill.............................................Oops - then we are the bad guys again for doing to the people of Mexico what the Government of Mexico is doing to the People of South America.................... Never mind, everything we do in America is wrong according to the left anyways................................. |
